Know Local News and Events

You have a great feel for your town, your friends and neighbors, the businesses places and attractions that make your community special.  The things that are important to your neighbors are the things that bind the town together and make it a community.  Family, friends, activities, businesses, local attractions, school sports and activities, historical places and tales, natural wonders, county fairs, rodeos, little league, and on and on.

Think about what makes your community special.  Write down the ten most special things about your town.  They can be anything, anything at all.  This is just a starting point.  Every time you find newly something great about your town write it down!  We will discuss Journaling along the way.
