When you close a sale, focus on closing like a doctor and not like a car salesman, the sales tend to happen more naturally.

We say like a doctor because your job is to discover & diagnose the problem and then prescribe them with what will best fit their needs.

You take your personal attachment to the sale out of the equation and focus on how to best help your customer. Salesmen tend to push things onto the customer that they don’t even need and that’s when you start to lose the trust of your prospect.

Focus on helping your business get from point A (their current situation) to point B (their desired situation).

Example: (A) they need more traffic coming through the door but they don’t have time to market. (B) We list their business which gains them more traffic and they didn’t have to put time and effort into marketing.

Question Examples To Help Ask For The Sale

  1. Which business listing do you think will serve your business best? Or “I think this listing will serve your business best because…” then tell them why and ask if this is the route they want to go with.
  2. Which business listing fits your budget?

Statement To Help Ask For The Sale

  1. “Sounds like based off of…”(list their needs or concerns here)… “this business listing will fit what you’re looking for, is this the one you want to go with?
