Texas is THE 'BEST' in Coast Fishing
Texas Gulf Coast Fishing is great! In terms of fish, we’ve got Red Drum, Black Drum, Blue Drum, Green Drum, Oil Durm, any kind of drum.
Near Texas City is the best place to find the only 4 eyed Flounder endemic to Texas! (although it might be here because of all em’ leeky above-ground storage tanks, but what do I know?) My buddy caught one of em’ about 2 years back and cooked it using all the trash he found on the beach, he was then sent to the hospital for liver failure and got cancer.
Anyway, so the Texas Gulf is the best place to start Texas Gulf Coast Fishing for fish. From experience, the best lure is somthin’ that’s natural since the fish here are tired of pollutants. After my buddy got out of the hospital, we used the tumor he got from the trash-grilled-4-eyed-flounder and it was the best bait I’ve ever used! We were catching fish left and right, Sheepshead, Lemon Sharks, Drums, it was crazy!
Although the Game Warden quickly saw the fish we were catching. So we fired up ol’ Lussy and got the hell out of there. We got chased for 200 miles down the coast until we ran out of gas. After bein’ arrested for evading the law, my sister-in-law bailed us out of the hoosegow, but ol’ Lussy didn’t make it. We went down to the impound with a case of beer and blasted free bird out of my 85′ chevy pickup. We reminisced about all the times we played chicken with the channel markers (and with a tanker) And the time in 17′ when we drove ol’ Lussy down HI-45 skiing and jumpin’ road sings. Those were the days…
